The year 2022,has been eventful. Since our last blog, there has been a lot of activity here at WISH Pool. Check out the article below for some quick updates on what is happening at WISH Pool:
1. Cardano upgrade steps
We recently shared a script that we use to perform simple, straightforward upgrades. If you are a stake pool operator running nodes that were built manually or using the Coincashew guides, check it out from out GitHub link below:

This script has sped up our upgrades significantly. Take note that additional steps may be required in future upgrades or if your setup has some unique characteristics. Nevertheless, if your setup is standard, this script will save you a lot of time. Try it out on a test machine first before applying to your production servers.
2. Cardano 2023 Calendar
The Cardano calendar for 2023 is now out! This is an annual project by Sagan Pool which highlights key events in the Cardano calendar including epoch changes and stake pool founding dates.

3. WISH Pool Featured By Cryptonomist
Cryptonomist is a site that features interesting members of the Cardano community. They have featured various stake pool operators and NFT projects from their inception.

4. Midnight Scam Sites
Unfortunately, not all news is good news. Riding on the popularity and general lack of detailed information about the new Cardano Midnight side chain, scammers have struck once again.
At least two scam sites have popped up urging people to create ADA wallets and transfer funds. They communicated this via Twitter and tagged members of the community including WISH Pool.
WARNING: This is a scam and we are not a part of this. We have already reported this to IOG.
For safety reasons, we are not posting the URL of these scam sites. Remember that there are no ADA giveaways and 99% of the people who direct message you are scammers. If you ever encounter suspicious activity, please report it by sending an email to: cardano-fraud@iog.io
